So would I be right in assuming that yesterday looked like the day that a lot of people got in for the MMM program? The day before that it seemed like they let in a lot of female applicants. I wonder if they have "theme days" where they let in certain categories of people. JD/MBA day on Monday? Come on guys!
I hope you all are planning on attending DAK, its a great time. Also, if you are married or bringing a significant other with you to school, I highly recommend you bring them along. Not only so they can see what its all about and so they can make an informed decision...but also to do the housing tour with the JVs.
Another day of playing Kellogg roulette...who will get in? Who will get a dreaded "unknown" status?
I think today is going to be a big admit day. Last Monday seemed to big the last big non-MMM admit day.

I'm feeling that too. I just really want to know one way or another before the holidays. It would be nice to be able to have a solid answer when I am asked by relatives/friends what I am doing next year for the hundreth time. Getting into Kellogg would make that answer so much simpler than explaining Round 1/Round 2, interviews, rolling admissions, and the other minutiae of the b-school application process.

I have that feeling as well... going to be a big day. Hell, it's going to be a big week I think with all these schools releasing decisions. I just hope to have one admit in hand by the end of the week... geeze that would be nice.

I agree...any admit in hand this week will be amazing

seriously...sign me up. Either Kellogg or Tuck this week would make my year.
Another possible reason to hope for Kellogg admits today: They know Booth will release decisions in the next few days, so they may want to rush to get out acceptances to the applicants they really want in order to beat Booth to the punch? Might be a reach, but it could serve as a little extra incentive to speed up the process.

Hmmm...really? Would Kellogg really look at Booth's decision deadline to make further decisions? Not really sure if Kellogg would put other school's notification deadline on watch....river? Any thought on this?
I can't really see how kellogg would benefit from that. It's not like Tuck EA or Cornell round 1 where you have to lay out a huge deposit within 3 weeks so you really need to make a decision fast. If I remember right kellogg gives you til April to consider other options. Even with Tuck or Cornell's process it'd be too late to get commitments before Booth comes back. I don't think there's a real psychological edge to telling people the day before Booth either. The schools are really different, people will choose their favorite on it's own merits regardless of notification.
