Well, in that case, I guess I should just not even think about it. However, I think if they weren't seriously considering admitting me they wouldn't bother - they would have my self reported score anyhow. But then again, who knows. Just hope I get in.

I'm assuming you sent the report to them ASAP, right? Via email?

No - I was away interviewing elsewhere so I had to wait until I came back home. Did send it via e-mail when I returned, though, which was very recent.

They just wanted to see a copy of the score. I just PDF'd it and sent it to them. That's what they asked for and when they received it they said it was all they needed.

I realized that my post may have come off more negatively than I had intended. Wasn't trying to be a wet blanket or anything, just trying to be informative.

No worries. Sorry fo the harsh response - you didn't come off negatively and I didn't mean to respond like that. lol Initially I thought they wanted the official score from Pearson, but the lady that sent me the e-mail said they just wanted a pdf copy.

Is it a good time to share an important update with the Ad Com i.e. post the interview? I havent in the past gotten involved with community services. I now have a chance to spend 3 weeks with an educational not for profit. Is it a good idea to share this update with the adcom?

At the least you should be sure you can articulate very clearly

-how significant an experience it was
-what your specific motivations were for joining it(aka not just "I hadn't done much community service work before")
-how it has changed you as a person. Future goals you want to achieve in the non-profit sector, takeaways that will make you a more well rounded student.

Otherwise such a claim reeks of 'I just did this to make my resume look better in your eyes'. If I'm an AdCom I'm thinking "why did he/she suddenly decide to do this now and not before?"

Just my $0.02.

If you are going to spend 3 weeks (in the future) I feel that is not something you should share since you have not learned anything from the experience. Also it seems as though you are waiting for a R2 decision? In which case I do not know if there is enough time to add it to your application.

My 3 cents.

So I haven't heard anything and I submitted the PDF copy on Friday - so maybe it wasn't a good sign, after all.
