Submitted...but wasn't quite ready to and my recommender is still MIA.
What is MIA?
It means missing in action. It is a military term to signify that a person is missing, but not captured or know to be dead.

Or it could mean an obnoxious Tamil singer/songwriter

I've submitted 3 applications in the last 10 days, all within 5 minutes of their respective deadlines. I am out of coffee, but I am also done all of my applications.

Good luck to everyone.

Add me in for R2. Even I submitted my app by 23.30 CST on the 14th.
But my submission time is displayed in the application system in EST, which is 00.30 on 15th.
Why do they use EST when the deadline is in CST? Should I be worried that their automated systems might consider me out of R2 by any chance? Should I call the school and clarify this or just cross my fingers?

LOL. I like M.I.A. and don't think she is obnoxious. Anyway, I am seeing that R2 applicants have had their interviews but I am yet to hear from Kellogg about scheduling an off-campus interview. Should I call them? I did submit Pt1 on December 18 though.

She is the singer who sang Paper Planes. I saw her at Coachella last year, and she was on too many drugs to count.

No im not from India, I was B&R in Los Angeles. It has been 75 degrees and sunny all week. starting to wonder why i want to leave for chicago :)

Since they state "Due by 11:59 p.m. CDT", if you submitted before 1am Eastern time you will be fine.

* CDT is really CST in the Winter I think

In the reminder mail I got as 11.59 CST and I submitted by 11.30 CST.
I am just wondering If its a good idea to check with the school. Or will it look silly.

You're fine. Time is time, plus I'm sure they are aware what time you submitted your application in CT time. relax!

The reason I think it's in EST is because the system is handle per 3rd party, like applyyourself and embark, and they probably use a standard time which is probably EST (damn east coast centric people). BTW on another rant, I like watching my playoff games in the evenings not in the afternoons!

Does anyone know when we're likely to get a decision from Kellogg, if you've already had your interview?
