No wouldn't advice to call them.Just try to be patient and let them do their work. In case if something is important is missing, they will approach you.

Thanks. One thing I am a little concerned about is my interview. I had mine around Thanksgiving time last year, so I'm hoping that they'll still be able to find it under all the dust.

@Milias

I am pretty sure they will be able to find it. So far in all my interactions with admissions office, I found that they were very quick in finding my file. They just ask your last name and there it is!!!

How many people received the off-campus interview invites? I've submitted part I on Dec. 18th, and haven't heard anything yet, getting worried.

Ok, makes it better that I'm not the only one. The website says to contact them if haven't heard anything in 6 weeks (not sure if that's from deadline or submission), this is week #5 for me, but I'm getting concerned.

Hello Everyone,

I have been visiting this forum from quite sometime now but this is my first post here. I have two queries and would like to request a response from the experienced forum members:

I am from India and I applied in R1 for Kellogg 2 year MBA program, my first choice. I have been on the wailist. I wrote to the admissions office reaffirming my interest to join the program. I was directed to the waitlist manager assigned to me and was told that I can get in touch with her for any updates and information about waitlist. She was on leave initially but from first week of Jan onwards, I have sent two emails to her requesting her to let me know the areas from my application that I could improve. I requested for a small telephonic discussion. I didn't hear back for quite a long time so I tried to reach on phone but again no response. Finally she gave me a time but when I called again on the agreed time again there was no response :cry: . So I am confused what should I do now since I don't know what the admission committee was looking for and how I could address those concerns. I don't have any apparent major weaknesses in application as such with a high GMAT score, decent GPA, 4 years work experience with a top fortune 500 company and some international experience also. Having sent two emails and two voice mails :roll: to my waitlist manager, should I still persist for a telephonic discussion or should I just shut up and wait? :?

I do have some significant updates since I applied to Kellogg. I wish to know whether these updates should be sent as a body of the email or as a separate essay in the form of an attachment. What should be the appropriate length of the essay?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You are in an "oversubscribed" category. Just send an update. But honestly, I am on the wait list too, and I talked to my wait list manager in December. She encouraged me to update my file, and I did so. It helps, though remember, you need to treat it like an essay. Use the body of the email.

Did you receive your interview invite through phone or email? I am traveling out of the country right now, my phone is off.

Just got back from my interview with a Alumnus. It was very casual. I was way over prepared. Basically all he wanted to know is if I had a good reason for wanting an MBA and that I understood how Kellogg fits with my career goals. Total interview time lasted about 45 minutes. It was a morning meeting so he had to get back to work.

For those of you who will be interviewing with Alumni, don't sweat the interview, its really casual and completely conversational!
