Does anyone know when we're likely to get a decision from Kellogg, if you've already had your interview?

Anyone know? Looking at last year's R2 admits, it looks like it's around mid-February?

Does anyone know if my interview is rather late (around early March, just before the R2 interview deadline), will it negatively affect my chance of acceptance?

The reason I'm worried is because I think they start to release decision notification about 1 month before the Notification date (based on round 1), while an application is only reviewed after interview has been conducted.

So can it be the case that they already admitted someone with similar profile/stats with me but who was interviewed earlier than me, and then they decided not to accept me because my application is reviewed later, even though both of us applied in Round 2?

I heard from somewhere that it's end of January/early February. Any truth to that?

I looked through last year's thread, and it looked like early March was the beginning of R2 decisions.

When I interviewed last week, the Adcom said you'll find out in about a month.

That's highly unlikely since the deadline was just last week. I haven't heard anything yet about R2 decisions, but I would think it would be similar to R1 with decisions starting about a month before the decision date, with the bulk being released 2-3 weeks before the decision date.

That's still not too bad. I'd relegated myself to waiting until Mar 29 for the decision. I'll take beginning Mar. I'd completed my interview back in November as I was visiting Chicago for my Booth interview.

Any idea if they release only admits early and all rejects on Mar 29, or are the rejects scattered over the month as well?

For those interviewing off-campus, do you have to inform the school after you set up the interview with the alum. And do you have to inform the school after the interview is completed?

I submitted part 1 of my application on 12/16 for an off campus interview and haven't heard from Kellogg about an interview yet. Is that unusual? Are there other people who are still waiting to hear about their off campus interview?

I used to think it's not unusual but now I've started to think it IS unusual.

I submitted mine much before you did( off campus interview). I still haven't heard anything from them

Cheers,

I don't know what you mean by 'complete'. My status, after I received a confirmation that my recos are in, has not changed since -- some generic stuff like 'your app is complete. If the interview is completed, the file will be moved to the adcom for review'

I don't remember the exact wordings but something on these lines

Hmm...so they won't even begin to review my file till I'm interviewed? That kind of bums me out! It hasn't been 6 weeks since I submitted, so I can't check with them yet...
