UPDATED R1 ROLL-CALL

Aiiiight here it is. I updated the roll call starting from page 39 of this thread.

185 applicants
60 acceptances (Most went out on Friday Dec 10, 2010)
49 dings (Most went out Monday Dec 13, 2010 in the early morning)
0 Waitlist

I compiled all the names on a google document roughly copied from the Yale page. Admits and dings, please add your relevant information to it.
https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AvIY3hh7tYG1dHhxbTBQUFMwdElMZGJiUkdzaWhkckE&hl=en&authkey=CL6k9LIF

Can someone tell me how to add an iframe to this post so it'll show up here?

Good luck everyone!!

Thanks Bei! 76/185 still waiting isn't too bad...

I would wager that the number of dings on the summary chart is grossly under-stated and the 'still waiting' is overstated by the same amount. I think people are less likely to report dings than acceptances, so I would take those with a grain of salt at this point. I would guess there are ~30 still waitings on this forum based on conversations today. I'd imagine most of the people still actually reading this would be in the 'still waiting' category.

Agreed. As a 99er (bad metaphor) I can tell you that activity has dropped off with all the acceptances/dings out there. Those of us left mostly assuage each other's nerves with gallows humor.

I guess Kellogg is not giving out any acceptances today...at least none we know of which seems a bit weird.

Not really looking forward to another anxiety filled night...

If the notification deadline is on the 20th and the system gets updated every night, I wonder if that means all decisions should be out by Friday at 330AM CST. My bet is yes.

hmmm...i was thinking Monday the 20th would be the last day for decisions. I think they still actually release results till the close of the very last day. So last round of dings the morning of Monday Dec. 20th with remaining admits/WLs during the day.

Hello, just got back from my interview (R2), and thought I'd type it up for future folks. It was pretty standard in terms of questions, and very conversational. He opened by saying that he was an advocate for my admission. I admitted I hadn't submitted my essays yet and wanted to learn more from him about Kellogg also.

Opened up with a description of himself, and he invited me to ask a question or two first about his experience.

Started off with a walk through of the resume and the focus was more on the transitions rather than what I did at each company/organization (except for my current company).

Question about leadership style.

Why MBA now?

Why Kellogg?

What do you want to do in the future?

If you get in, after graduation, what would your future classmates 1) say about you, and 2) say what you brought to the Kellogg experience.

Is there anything else you would like me to know, anything at all?

I asked him questions afterwards. Total time was ~45 min - 1 hr, although it was scheduled for 30 minutes. At the end he said that I did great on the interview and if I had any more questions about Kellogg, or about the application (but not about admissions) to just get in touch with him anytime. Overall I thought it was very positive, the only thing where I think I may have rambled a bit was the last question of whether there was anything else to include... hopefully I didn't screw myself, but otherwise I thought it was a good interview!

Long time lurker, but actually going to come out of the woodwork to post that I was dinged (12/13). Kinda bummed out, but with 20/20 hindsight, I feel that my Kellogg essays were my weakest. I wasn't a huge fan of essay #3, which probably showed in my application, and I didn't go into as much detail into why Kellogg as I did with other schools. Still got into my top choice, so I'll be okay.

For those curious about the interview (alumni, off-campus, 11/19), I actually felt really good about it. It was the most conversational of the ones I've had. Very stock MBA questions (why MBA, why Kellogg, what do you want to do post MBA, give me an example of handling conflict), and my interviewer and I seemed to get along pretty well. The only thing I could add is that my interviewer tried to dig deep into why I wanted an MBA. This is probably because my post-MBA goals are similar to what my boss, who doesn't have an MBA, already does now, which naturally begs the question, why don't I instead work to eventually step into his shoes. I feel that I sufficiently answered this, though, and have no reason to feel that that played into my eventual rejection.
