Just got my off-campus interview assignment email--any other R2'ers hear anything yet?

how does it work, do they ask you to contact an alum and then you set an appropriate time that suits both of you or do they assign the date and time too??

Just for those who don't check the back pages, I applied R2, interviewed back in December, and have yet to submit my essays.

@Round 1 Waitlisters - Any further instructions from Kellogg on how to proceed ? My waitlist contact is available only from next week, so I have no info

I spoke to my contact yesterday, and she said to make sure to read the FAQ link in the waitlist letter. Decisions are rolling from this point forward, but it sounds like most updates will come in late February or March. She advised emailing a letter expressing interest and updating employment info (if applicable) within the next month. Hope this helps! Fingers crossed for the both of us!

Yep, got a name/number/email address for a local alum and instructions to complete the interview within 21 days. I think I'll contact her but request to hold off until after my HBS and Kellogg Part 2/essays are completed and submitted...hopefully she'll understand that.

Thanks for your answer, that's what I did too. Do you know if recommendation letters should be 2 to 4 pages single spaced or double spaced?

I don't have a good answer on that since I'm not sure what the auto-email and link look like--any R1s have a better idea?

My recommender showed me the questions that it asked him on the site. It doesn't specify single or double space. It still says:

"Please limit your response to two to four pages."

My recommender said it asked for doublespaced...

Got my interview assignment today as well. Can anyone point me to a thread about what kind of interview questions to expect? I just want a general idea about the format of the interview, length, any tips to prepare etc.

Admitted Kellogg students - your help will be greatly appreciated!

Neither have I. When did you submit part I and where are you located? I submitted on the day of the deadline and live in the SF bay area.

Seeing how Kellogg interviews everyone who doesn't require a waiver of some sort, I think you're ok.

It may have something to do with the fact that I submitted Part 1 five days before the deadline for off-campus interview requests. If you submitted on the deadline day they may not get to yours for a little longer.

It doesn't. Are you sure that was for Kellogg?

Is ti going to be an issue with my application if I originally planned to apply R1, interviewed way back in September, but then held the rest of it off until R2 because I wanted to spend more time on my essays? Will they still be able to match it up?

I submitted pt II last week and upon reviewing a thousand more times, I see a few minor things I would change. I think i already know the answer to this, but is there any way to unsubmit to make changes since the deadline is still 4 days away? Do they ever do this?

I would say that if it's minor, it's not worth it, even if they would allow it. This is why you should not read your application after you submit it (unless you get an interview)!
