I submitted my Part 1 (off campus interview) AFTER the Dec 15 deadline. I'm not expecting an off-campus interview; probably expecting a Waiver instead, but lets just hope to see.
Has anyone gotten confirmation of the receipt of Part 2 yet?

On the application module it shows it at submitted a day prior to the deadline, but the application status page still says it'll let me know when Part 2 is received.

Right, mine says the same thing. Wasn't sure if anyone got the email that they had officially received it (and was updated on their "check application status" page)
Just had my interview off campus with an alumni (London based). Had submitted my part 1 app on dec 15 and part 2 on the R2 deadline and received the interview invite a few days before part 2 deadline. I feel like the interview went well.
Now that I have done the interview, do you know if there is a chance to get a decision slightly earlier?
Applications are reviewed in a random order, but aren't even added to the review pile until interviews are completed (or waived). So, while you have a greater chance of being among the earlier decisions released, it definitely is not certain.
In any event, you won't receive a decision earlier than the general timeline of when adcom releases decisions, which seem to start about 2-3 weeks before the decision date.

Thanks for the information Jerz.
Please help me understand...so if I have requested an on-campus interview for mid Feb, my application will not be reviewed until then? Or am I wrong?
The only reason I scheduled for that late is because I thought the adcom might have reviewed my application before I even interview.
I received an interview waiver. I know this is common, especially for those overseas (I'm in Asia), however will all admitted candidates eventually be interviewed? Or should we consider this interview waiver as being final?
Every candidate admitted to Kellogg is interviewed. The waiver decision is not final. If the admissions committee is interested in your file they will contact you for an off-site interview. best of luck!
I am an international, submitted my Part 1 one week prior to the Round 2 deadline and then my Part 2 at the Round 2 deadline. However, I did not hear anything from the Adcom, either a interview invite or a waiver. Should I contact them ???

nifoui,
thanks for the interview update. This is a quick turnaround and Kellogg invited you to interview. I thought most Internationals got waivers first. What sort of questions did the alum ask, any curveballs?

That's correct, applications are not reviewed until they are complete, and they are not considered complete until the interview is completed (or waived). It would be much more inefficient for a reviewer to review the application, then later on look at it again with the interview feedback.
