Hi folks,

I am a R2 applicant and my application status still says " We have received Part I of your application....After Part II of your application is received and reviewed....". I have also completed my off-campus interview and the application does show the interview match letter.

Just wanted to make sure that I am not all alone in this situation. Anyone else in the same boat?

Please let me know.

Hi sunnyrollen, I'm in exact same situation. Now we just sit tight until we hear from Kellogg. For us, February will be a good time to hang out with friends, finish a book, pursue hobbies, etc. :)

I think someone on this thread said that we can anticipate hearing back in early March at the earliest, but at the very least all R2 applicants will receive a decision by the March 28th decision deadline. Good luck!

I may be wrong, but I believe none of the applicants (atleast among the GMATClub members) who have got an off-campus interview waiver in R2 have heard back from the ADCOM on scheduling a telephonic interview. So it is hard to imagine that it's all over. I am in the same boat and I am trying to be as optimistic as possible.

Anyone who received a telephonic interview invite after getting a waiver initially in R2 - please correct me if I am wrong.

Guys,

I'm seeing many folks with their invites - I'm happy for them, but a couple words about me:

I'm an international applicant, submitted in R2 and have not received anything from Adcoms about my interview.
Is it time to think about next year application or Kellogg simply has not started sending invites to international students?

Thanks.

My status just switched over to this yesterday, but then again I did my interview 2 weeks ago:

All the required elements of your application are complete.

If your interview has been completed, the application has been submitted for review to the admissions committee. If your interview has not been conducted, the application will be submitted to the admissions committee upon completion of the interview. The next status check update will be the admission decision (Admit, Waitlist or Deny). When a decision has been rendered, the Office of Admissions will send you an email notifying you to check your status for your decision. Decisions will be released throughout the round, but the majority of decisions will be released during the last several weeks of the round.

I have the same status, and did not get an email about it. So either that's bad for me or don't worry that you didn't get an email!

Kellogg's interview process is a little different from other schools. Almost everyone is interviewed, so there's nothing to read into an interview invite about your chances (unless you receive a waiver and then subsequently are asked to interview).

I assume you requested an off-campus interview by the 12/15 deadline- if so, then it's been 6 weeks since you made your request. Wait until 2/9 (8 weeks after you made your interview request), and if by then you have not received either a waiver or an interview assignment, contact admissions. (This is what admissions instructs you to do).

I had to contact adcom about my interview- it took 12 weeks to get an assignment. I wouldn't worry about it, yet.

Do people typically call or email their alumni interviewer? I'd prefer email but don't want to break protocol.

My interview invite email specifically said "CALL". So I did...

I'd go with email. I felt the same way, and ended up calling because the instructions said to call. Several days later, she hadn't called me back and I followed up with an email. It was much easier to schedule that way, and I suspect the alums prefer it too.
