Man. This thread is turning into paranoia.
Interview is a two-edge sword - if you ace it, good. if not, you would wish you hadn't done it. In my interview, the answers for my questions were 90% similar to what I put down in my essays. And compared to other schools, the questions for Kellogg make you reveal yourself, especially the one about "why should we pick you??" So essays themselves should give adcom good picture of your candidacy.
whomovedmymouse, it doesn't matter what an applicant think - what matters is what the interviewer thinks, which we will never know since God didn' give us the ability to read other people's mind. I had an interview with an adcom member a week after submitting Part 1. I said everything I needed to say but not as WELL as I could've because it was a damn hot day in LA and i kept drinking water as my mouth got dry. Is she gonna focus on my content rather than deliver? I dunno. If somebody tells me they focus on content, I would feel better but hey, he ain't the adcom.
It is a waiting game and yes, we are looking for some certainty in this game. But we won't find one. Even if adcom says something, we will come up with some theory, which indicates exact opposite of what they say. Let's keep the sanity alive. Jon Stewart, please pitch in.
