Waiver... then phone interview. (I fumbled a bit but got my points across). It was brief (30min exactly). I was told to wait 4 to 6 weeks for a decision.
I am pretty sure Kellogg reviews apps in order of completion, so I guess the dec 20th decision deadline does not apply to everyone.
Can you share the interview questions and experience here? Also, was the interview taken by an adcom or a current student?
By Adcom, it was pretty basic, it was early morning for her so I guess she was looking to move though her long long list of interviews for the day.
Questions:
1) Career progression from why undergrad to why first job to second etc.. to why mba and why kellogg
(she even said - you do all the talking, I will listen, that is how this interview will go)
(I broke it in 2 parts, started the why mba and why kellogg by prefacing my career goals)
2) what will you contribute to kellogg?
(bit of probing, she asked me to expound on a few points)
3) what kind of leader are you?
4) as an international student do you expect a company to sponsor you visa after you mba?
(toughie but i have faced it b4)
5) what other schools have you applied to and why?
6) anything to add
7) running out of time so only time for one question
Q1 was an all encompassing biggie that took a while, esp. with some of the questions she asked
hope it helps.
all the best to the other applicants, it looks like those who have interviews late have quite a wait (early to mid jan atleast for me)
