Hey guys, any advice on the optional essay for Kellogg? I want to add more context on my goals given we have so little space elsewhere (short answers with a 250 chars capping).

The optional essay prompt says use this space to discuss extenuating circumstances. Does this mean it’s only for adding context to gaps, etc?

In most business schools, you can use it to discuss the things that you couldn’t mention in other prompts. Does the optional essay only ask us to mention extenuating circumstanceS?

What’s the general timeframe to hear back from Kellogg? I see that the video essays link will be activated only in September. Does that apply it makes no sense to apply this early?

Hey folks! I was planning to submit application for Aug '22 intake in a day or two. But I see that the video component would go live only in September. Does this mean there's no point to apply early?

I read that the applications are evaluated on a rolling basis hence thought of getting in early.

Hello everyone, does anyone how strict is Kellogg with the word count for its essays? Can we go about 10-15 words over the 450 word limit?

Are the video Essays on Kellogg completely random? Kellogg has given the topics for three essays but the admissions director talks about it in the videos and hinted that the questions will be random.

Folks who’ve completed the video essays component - can you please confirm if the first 2 questions are introduction and goals (as mentioned on the website) and third is random? The intro video on Kira from the admissions office is confusing.
