Hard deadline for recommendation is 13 Jan

Just submitted my application, but I am puzzled, if I am the only one:
1) (Why) does LBS request only one reference?
2) (Why) is there no video essay required?

The recommendation part is new to this admissions cycle. As for the video essay, there is a video interview you must submit during the interview stage of the admission process.

You need your official test taker copy GMAT/GRE score report.

"The GMAT code for the London Business School MBA Programme is Z11-J7-50. Please include your official test taker copy GMAT/GRE score report with your supporting documents *or a screenshot of your test result from your online GMAT portal. If admitted you will be required to arrange for us to verify your test score electronically via the relevant test website – GMAC for GMAT and ETS for GRE."

Considering that the application has already been submitted, how should one communicate a recent move within one's job? e.g. receiving a promotion, distinction, or having more people report to him/her than previously stated in the CV.

If that was the case they would never ask people for updates in your profile when waitlisted
Also, if once profile has major changes after app submission- and the time he actually attends the classes or joins - he or she can update and send them.
Portla may or maynot be updated- bt one can always try and send them mail and request for additional submission and updation in the application file
