Hello,

I’m a London Business School alumni and interviewer. Yes- Duolingo/IELTS/TOEFL work well! There’s no bias towards any of these. They’re all fairly easy exams that can be cleared with 7-10 days of preparation.

However, with R1 deadline in 3 days I would suggest simply putting in your medium of instruction in English certificate in that section.

The adcom will most likely email you within a week to update with your scores as India doesn’t qualify as an English speaking country. However, this way you can atleast focus on working towards your application for now and give the test later.

So it’s okay to use AI for grammar check etc however do not rely on it as LBS hates flowery language and it’s fairly easy to detect an AI written essay- even without using a detector.

I would ideally need to understand how you’ve used AI to comment better on whether it needs to be disclosed or not. It’s based on how LBS checks for AI essentially.
