Hi,
As per R1 calls, I guess those who didn't get any interview in R2 are put on waitlist category. If my guess is not wrong then those who haven't received their calls up till now will get their decision on 12th March.

But it seems almost no one over here has got an interview invite till now. We have quite a healthy pool of applicants for Madison on gmatclub. Dont know what exactly is the situation.

Hi guys, to give a clearer situation. I applied for CFIB and got invitation scheduled on 25 Feb. I also had an informal chat with a current 1st year student on 21 Feb about the program and student's perspectives.

So i asked the adcom team on the status of my Application ( R2 applicant) and this is what they replied...
" Because your recommendation was not submitted until February 13th, your application will not be reviewed until the next cycle which starts on March 13th. Your application is now complete, it will be moved to a status of Review on that day."

Now i fear that my app will be considered for R3 and i will miss out on R2. Being an Indian applicant, this will make my chances weak.

Akshay0907 I have a question. What does your application status say? Mine's 'In Review'.

And did you also receive an email after submitting your application that said "All of your materials have been received and your application is being reviewed by the program's admissions staff. We will email you when your application decision is available online. You can check your application status anytime by logging in to your account."???

yeah i got the email but since my Recommendation was submitted on 14th Feb. They did not consider my app for Round 2. So if u guys have submitted all that before 13th Feb, then urs must be under review.

For me they told now ur app is ready for review and on 13th march they will review it , however the Centers have access to all the submitted applications.

The same happened with my application in R1. It was pushed to R2 as they received letter of recommendation late. However i haven't heard of interview from Madison. Did any R2 applicants receive interview calls?

Could any R1 admits tell us after how many days interviews got scheduled?

Not yet.

I submitted my completed application on 3rd Feb and since then it is "In review". Any idea if we can expect a tick in the check box for Official Test Scores verified by testing institution atleast? Or does that happen after the interview is done?

I am an R1 applicant and I had a very bad experience with Madison. Hopefully my experience would answer a few of all your questions.
I submitted ALL my application material before the deadline(including recos). Within a week, I was asked to pick 3 best slots for an interview out of the available ones.
I chose the 3 slots(all on the same day) about a fortnight from the day I received the interview invite. I never got a confirmation as to which of the slots was I finally gonna be interviewed on. I waited and waited while sending out emails to the adcoms. Finally after a lot of emails, they said that my interview was postponed to the coming monday at 12 PM CST(around 11.30 PM my time). I wanted to get this interview done ASAP as I was really frustrated with the attitude of the adcoms, so I said YES to that slot.
After a busy day in office(and mind you it was a monday), I came back home, put my suit on and switched my laptop on.
The people who interviewed me seemed to already have a lot of excellent profiles to feast upon. Therefore they were uninterested in me. They had a sarcastic and belittling tone.
My decision was given right on the decision day. I was waitlisted in the end of it all, and I don't feel bad about it. Because all this showed their disinterest in me, and nobody wants to go somewhere like that.

'Desperate Me' had a chat with the AdCom and apparently there are chances of interview invites being extended out to applicants for R2, still.

Thanks for the update arshadhashmi. Did they mention any tentative timeline?

"...in the following weeks" is what I learnt yesterday. That leaves us with not much time to spare, keeping the decision date of March 13 for R2 applicants, in view.

Well then, I guess we can expect a lot of wait lists in this round as well
