I have already sent the official GMAT report to McCombs through mba.com. Do we have to send the score to GIAC separately as well.
What status did you people have after submitting the application and before paying the fee.
The deadline for submitting the application is 14th Oct or submitting the fee?
I submitted the application today on 14th. Hope I would be considered for R1.
Hi!
I submitted my application yesterday night i.e. 13th. After submission, payment and uploading transcripts (the post submission ones), only the fee and transcripts were showing as 'awaited'. The justification for this is that it reflects in about 48 hours. However, for me, the GMAT showed as received. I only submitted my official scores to the program and not to GIAC. You should get this clarified. Please do post when it's resolved
.
Secondly, your app will be considered for round 1. I asked the same question to them before submission, and got the reply that if the app has been submitted before the deadline, it's considered as part of the same round. Fee payment not included. However, your application will not go under review till fee has been payed. Hope I could help here.
Hi!
That was really useful.
So you sent your application yesterday and today you have paid the fee as well. How fast you got that mail asking for payment.
I sent them an email asking for clarification. I got this reply -
The McCombs School of Business uses a custom application for their applicants. It typically takes 48 to 72 hours from the time the application is submitted before it is processed and received within our system.
Your scores are attached to the EID you provided. When the application is loaded within our system it will be paired with your scores and your status will be updated.
Until then you can ignore the notice on your my status check page regarding outstanding test scores.
Thank you for your interest in the University of Texas at Austin
Hope this helps
