Received a phone call from admissions today informing me I have been accepted to the program! Notification of scholarships will be sent out by 3/30. Look for 512 area code on the phone and good luck to all.

I just received a mail from the Associate Director of Admission for the Full-Time Texas MBA program that my application is currently under review by the Admissions Committee and they made me an extra question about my future goals because the question was not address at the interview. Do you think these are bad new? I am very nervous.

I would say that anytime they reach out for more info it means you are not out of the running, so I would say its a good thing!

Got the call today at 5:30 central time. Was surprised that it came after official business hours. Congrats to everyone that got admitted. To those still waiting, I feel your pain. The wait went from tough but bearable to agonizing the second I saw that other people had already gotten calls on Friday. Good luck everyone!

So anyone who did not receive an interview invite yet (R2) can assume that its a reject?

i would think so. I am in the same boat. on mine it still says that the application has been sent to graduate committee for review. But there is no time left for interview and decision now with the decision deadline so close..

I've pretty much given up on analyzing their calling patterns. It seems like some days they call a bunch of people, and other days they are totally quiet. I just hope I can learn something quickly to ease my anxiety as we approach the 26th... :/

Even I am wondering on the order in which they are giving admit calls. Is it based on the interview date? The one interviewed first will get the result first or something else? I had my interview on 02/13. But still no update.

My 2 cents to dis is dat order of admit calls is going to be Location & Merit based with internationals getting calls later compared to US candidates...dats what I think of it for time being!! I interviewed on 01/28..waiting & waiting...

I was interviewed January 26th, and no update yet. I read somewhere that McCombs does take into account the order in which the applications came in. What I do not know is if they consider the interview date as the end of the application process or the actual application date (when you send the application online). I guess the only thing that's left is play the waiting game.
