Hi,
I got admitted from WL R2, received a call from admissions. So for all of you WL, you need to take some actions:
1. Call the admissions or visit them, there will be infosession on May 27th, if you can come, do so. During your chat with adcom express that McCombs is your TOP choice. After that write follow letter with your recent updates in your career, volunteer work, GMAT test scores if you retook it, classes that you took to enhance your knowledge
2. Start networking with current students and alumni. Find out who you know that went there/teaches there or even friends of friedns. Meet with them. The goal should be to get support letters. I've managed to get 2 ppl to send letter of support
3. Ask your current/former supervisor to write additional letter or Recommendation.
4. Additionally you can start networking with your dream company and thus during your conversation with adcom you can tell that and throw some names.
So, to get from WL is doable but you need to work extra on your application.
Good luck!

Congrats mika84 !!!! and Thank you for all the tips.

Best of luck to all the candidates on the waitlist. It takes hell lot of effort to clear the McCombs waitlist.

Is McCombs still accepting those from waitlist? Are there possibly no spots left? I see many have been let go but few accepted. I am a round 1 waitlist. I recently sent in email update but nothing back from them.

Hi Pradeep89
Did you receive an email asking for update or you voluntarily sent email update?
