Got a decision via e-mail/portal that I've been waitlisted.
It looks like people who have lower GMAT and/or GPA than me got accepted so I don't think that was an issue for me.
I think my problem was weak extracurriculars, career track and my interview with AdCom that didn't go as well as I would've liked.
The way I see it is, hypothetically they accepted 300 applicants expecting a good percentage e.g. 40% will choose another school, and they will start tapping into the waitlist if more than 40% have refused their acceptance. Is this how the waitlist works?
In that case how good are my chances of getting accepted later on? How can I improve my chances in the next month or so until the final decision date, May 15th?
