Has anyone received a Visa Info session email? I was Waitlisted and now my decision has vanished from the portal. I haven’t heard from them, but have only received this email. What does it mean?

I know it’s a no brainer. But would still appreciate inputs in terms of Kelley with 100% scholarship vs Ross with 26%.

• Avoided potential loss of USD 700-900K (in form of equipment damage, maintenance and lost production hours) by mentoring the team of twenty eight, through mock drills, in dealing with high stress emergency situations such as power or utility failure.
• Brought annual saving of USD 80K by conceptualizing the modification scheme concerning oil loss conservation.
• Co-led the timely completion of commissioning activities of LPG treatment unit, a USD 1 million project, by consistently meeting deadlines for individual milestones within the project, which would save USD 500K worth chemicals.
• Developed standardized format for log-books by reassessing monitoring scope and by clearly defining monitoring objectives, resulting in reduced breakdown frequency of equipment – the format that is recommended as template for other units

Production Engineer : 2016-2020

Hi raj94knp hope you are doing great

Ross is renowned for nurturing ambitious individuals seeking leadership roles in operations and strategy. It's no wonder that you're interested in applying to Ross given your O&G background. However, ranking among the top 10 schools, the competition at Ross is fierce.

Perhaps you're already aware, but Ross's master's in supply chain management (MSCM) program is considered one of the top two programs in the field, the other being offered by MIT. This presents an excellent opportunity for you to consider applying not only to the flagship MBA program but also to the Ross MSCM program.

What sets the Ross MSCM apart is its affiliation with the Ross School of Management, rather than being housed within an engineering school like MIT's SCM program. This means that while studying at Ross, you'll gain extensive exposure to management-oriented subjects (much like MBA students) while maintaining a strong focus on operations leadership.

Your profile is impressive, but it's important to note that the competition will be intense. To position your candidacy strongly, I recommend actively networking with the school and its alumni. Their insights into the program can provide valuable guidance and help you stand out.

If you're considering Indian B-Schools, I strongly suggest you consider IIM A PGPX, IIM B and ISB .

I have worked extensively with applicants from operations backgrounds and have spent nearly a decade in the industry myself. I would be happy to connect and gladly share my insights and advice.
