It is surely going to take a lot of work to manage two threads!!! ATB for this and for R2. I've already sent in my application to Sloan for R1. Contemplating LBS for R2.

Hahaha.. you're right... it might pose a bit of problem... but I'm taking it as a bootcamp for MBA.. If I can't handle my job & these two threads, read other relevant threads, work on my applications and still find time for movies, then may be MBA curriculum isn't for me.. But I'll try my best ...

My application status just changed from "submitted" and "incomplete" to "complete and being evaluated." Maybe that means some news is forthcoming.

Last year's R1 deadline was Sep 24 and the MIT blog update came out on Oct 23, stating that invites would go out starting on Oct 25 and will continue periodically through Nov 8. (see link: https://mitsloanadmissions.com/2013/10/23/whats-next-for-mba-round-1-applicants/ .) Since this year's R1 deadline was Sep 23, I am inclined to say that we're likely to be on the same timeline. More waiting...
