"For graduates of non-U.S. institutions, indicate the grading distribution (e.g., A-F, 0-100) at your academic institution."

Do they mean what grading system was used or how the grades were actually distributed among students? Should I just leave this blank? Thanks

I interpreted it as your former. The latter doesn't make much sense to me, as there's not much room to write a full distribution out.

If you want to be real sure, give them a call.

Yeah, it does not make much sense. I'll just leave it blank. Thanks

@BruceLee @TDA: Guys I think you are reading too much into this. IMOP, this is simply the grading scale used by your school to mark courses (i.e. A-F, A+ to F, %, over 20, ...etc)

Just a quick tip...

if anybody is having trouble uploading files (i.e. you're getting error messages), try converting your files to pdfs yourself and then uploading them directly as pdfs... it worked for me..

Good luck everyone!

The only issue I ran into was uploading documents larger than 500 KB. The document in question was a PDF of my transcript so played around with my scanner's resolution to settle on a readable version that was under the 500 KB limit. Uploading everything else went really smooth for all my Round 1 schools. Best of luck to everyone!

This is a far cry from official admissions policy but found this posted on Oct 27 on last year's MIT Sloan Fall 2010 Applicant thread:

I spoke to the adcom office and was told late recommenders on an otherwise submitted application will get considered for R1, but they won't guarantee you will hear for sure by the notification deadline. They will of course endeavour to make that deadline but no promises.

So hopefully a couple hours late on the reco isn't a huge deal. Better than getting included with R2 apps.

I had issues uploading from Firefox (only today, last time it worked fine), and I changed to Safari and it worked. Anyway it is possible to contact support and send them the essays.
