I think SF folks will be interviewed here in the bay area (source: Last year's chats where it was mentioned that there were some 25 slots for interviews in SF). Not sure about other places (LA, Seattle etc.) though..

I attended an info session where they said they would likely conduct interviews in Chicago. Of course, that could change depending on the number of people in the region they want to interview.

Guys...I'm pretty sure we're getting ahead of ourselves on West Coast invites. I am positive they haven't sent out their west coast invites for one reason...I didn't get one yet!

j/k, thats what I'll have to tell myself until something happens.

Is Friday a drop-dead date on interview notices? I thought I remembered seeing a timeline from Sloan on their interview notifications but can't seem to find it in any of my e-mails. Thanks!

I don't think they post a timeline. Last year, the vast majority of people received an invite, ding, or deferral to R2 by 12/18, but there were some people who were left hanging into January.

Current State: 12/15/2010: Round 1 interview invites have already begun to go out, primarily to applicants from the United States; reports suggest that invites will be extended to Asian applicants beginning next week. Invites can be sent out all the way up to the January 31st decision date, but the adcom aims to distribute most of them by mid-December.

From the Clear Admit MBA Site: Won't let me post URLs, but Google "Sloan MBA wiki" and look for "Main Page - ClearAdmitWiki" link. A solid site that offers weekly updates from top business schools regarding the admission process + interview debriefs.

Know that isn't exactly what you were looking for, but hope it helps a little. Still plenty of interviews to be sent out, so hang in there. I scheduled for an on-campus interview between January 3-19th and there are still at least 50 slots open (and that's a conservative number).

Again, best of luck to all. Keep the faith. Plenty more interview invites on the way.

reply email received yesterday from the adcom. I asked when would the invitation to Europe be extended:

Dear XXX,

We thank you for your patience as we make our interview decisions and extend offers. We do not yet have the final travel schedule planned, so we can’t say. We reserve the right to call candidates for interview up until the decision deadline of January 31, 2011. Thank you.

I think, anyhow, that it is the end of the road for us Europeans. I heard through a friend, as Genghis told us, that many people in Israel have been extended invited to interview in Tel Aviv, so I am assuming that they have got this part of the globe figured out.

Should anybody know more about Europe and interviews already arranged in London, Paris or elsewhere, please let us know...

Already in a ding mode :(
