guys can we exceed the word count by 10%?

You can but you really shouldn't. I went over by 10% and it was alright. But I could have gotten a lenient reader. Posted from my mobile device

10% is quite a bit I think, it’s better to play it safe If they wanted more, they’d have allowed more. If you get a strict reader, you might lose points for not following instructions Remember, these applications are also a way of them testing how effectively you can write in a succinct fashion

Yeah but come on, 30more words Is fine When you applied did you have your GMAT score in the check list?

The way I see it is, they clearly say 300 words. Why risk losing points over something that you can control?

I’m sure you can edit so that you can reduce those 30 words. Such a risk is not worth taking.

Rewording, rephrasing, and eliminating unnecessary words you’d be surprised how much meaning you can retain by eliminating some trivial phrases

I didn't use it for MIT but another school, and that was Zoom. It was just me talking to the camera and not moving around, so I used my phone as a camera, positioned it at eye level, started a zoom meeting with only myself and chose the record option within zoom. Once I was happy with a take, I ended the meeting and was sent the download link a few minutes later. Posted from my mobile device
