Goodluck to all!

I understand that Sloan has rolling invites, anyone have an idea of when they will start sending invites?

Where did you hear that? Interviews are not rolling at Sloan, unless they changed from R1 to R2.

There is an interview invite release date, and you then have your pick of dates and times over a certain time period. For R1 it was like 3-4 weeks I think.

I found that on this link, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1120340212

"Invite only, can be invited up until the decision deadline (Apr 4)"

If R1 is the precedent, and it should be, then that should read something like "Invite only, can choose to interview up until the decision deadline"

In R1 there was a date that was communicated to us a little bit after the app deadline as to when we should expect the interview decision. All decisions were released on that date, and then we had a portal with a calendar of dates and times to choose from that went up to the deadline day. It should be the same in R2.

I think I messed up the organizational chart. I only included my direct reports and my recommenders + references. I didn’t include all my peers. Is this ok?

Probably, Adcom says in the webpage that they are looking to know who you interact with at work.. but anybody more experienced can clarify it

If it still provides more context around your role in the org. you should be fine

The people in the adcom (and I am certain this goes for other schools as well) are genuinely trying to find great candidates, therefore a small mistake is unlikely to result in a ding if the application overall is promising ;)

Will the AdCom send an email regarding the status of candidature on 25th Feb or is on a rolling basis (as in some people get notified before 25th)?

All interviews decisions should be released at the same time. In R1, that email came with instructions to schedule an interview and also to submit the pre interview essays

Now that the deadline has passed, our Admissions Committee is busy reviewing applications. Here are some details regarding the Round 2 interview process:

Interview invitations will be sent by the end of February. All Round 2 applicants will receive either an interview invitation or final decision by the end of February.

All Round 2 interviews will be conducted virtually.

The interview is an important next step in our admissions process, as we interview everyone who is admitted into the MIT Sloan community.

Above mail from MIT
