Anyone who lives or has lived in manhattan comment on life with a dog. My wife and I have a 15 pound dog we are not exactly keen on getting rid of but I am not sure how feasible it is to have a dog since that makes finding an apartment and all that all the more difficult. Anyone know any good areas to live around if you have a dog?
I have a 150 lb dog coming with me, so I'm counting on there being some pet friendly places to live if I get into NYU!
WOW!!! this has nothing to do with Stern...but...What kind of dog is it?! With something that big, your def going to need to live near central park.
More relevant question: I'm interview this week with Stern and I'm excited. I have a good feel for the questions they will ask but if anyone have any last minute tips? I'd be happy to have them!
I am going to guess some thing like a great pryeness maybe? My friends has one and his is about 150 pounds...
For the interview, I would recommended reading the clear admit site to look over the interview questions. I think I have interviewed at something like 7 or 8 schools now and they were all pretty much the same except for Stern. Reviewing questions on clear admit and having an idea of how I wanted to answer before the interview helped me formulate better responses to the questions.
Also be able to talk about the career goals you listed in your essays. I am a career switcher and about half of my interview was about the career field I wanted to switch into like why do I think I can do it, what attracts me to the field, what companies would be like to work for etc...
I wasn't asked any of the "traditional" MBA questions like why stern or why an MBA or anything. They already know all that from your essays.
