You learn about any scholarship in your admit package. I doubt you will find one this late in the game (but you may).

I just got an email about an event mid-April to impress potential admits with my being a miserable bastard that hates MBAs.

Typically it is the week after that, so you are looking mid-20s April for my guess. Your hope is that any marginals speak to me. Not that I don't speak positively of the whole thing, I just am probably not the great car-trunk with a golden glow they might be looking for.

Anyone who has already completed the Kroll background check? I want to find out how long does it take to complete the entire process. I am looking forward to deposit the enrollment fee early next week and begin the background check process.

Looking at the numbers, it's interesting to see what a high percent of interview invites get accepted.
For R1, it is over 70%, not counting waitlists and people who did not respond.
NYU claims 50-60% in interviews the last couple of years.

I hope the >70% number stays true for the rest of us!

An admissions consultant told me that nyu admits a higher percentage of interviewees than other schools do. In fact he said almost all, but I think he was trying to make me feel better because I was concerned I hadn't been invited at that time. So don't take that too literally.

it was not nothing special 5-6 prospective students and several alumni total of maybe 15 people..
i really need an admit from NYU its my last chance for the year.=)
