Did you applied on 1 st or Second round???? It took you a lot to get an answer!!!

Applied R1. Got interview notification Feb 8 which is before the R1 notification deadline. The big wait was b/w the interview invite and the interview b/c I was interviewing for summer start, which seems to have one unified interview day. Anyway-- god speed everyone!

I'm also in - R2, interviewed in London 16th March. Do any internationals know how long it takes for the letter to come through? Is it not the done thing to email to ask about financial aid before it comes?!

I noticed it says on the admitted students website that if you don't want your employer to know about your plans to attend business school, you should not start the verification process. It also tells you to send an email to the admchair. I guess this means that Kroll will reveal that you're going to attend Stern during the verification process?

Yep. Kroll does a full background check, so they call the current and past employers to verify the info.

To those who went through this process already: How long does the Kroll verification usually take? I signed the release almost 2 weeks ago and I know they contacted one of my past employers but I still haven't received the all clear message. Is it just the backlog?

Anyone who has already completed the Kroll background check? I want to find out how long does it take to complete the entire process. I am looking forward to deposit the enrollment fee early next week and begin the background check process.

I submitted Kroll on Wednesday Mar 16 and was finished by Friday Mar 25 (according to the Kroll person I spoke with). I think mine took longer than usual because they contacted me for more information on Monday Mar 21 and I was out of town w/o access to that information until Friday.

In with !!Congratulations to all who has been admitted. I was set on choosing between NYU and Kellogg . Now that I am officially accepted to UCLA. I am having a dilemma between UCLA with 30k fellowship/year vs Stern at 10k/year. Both Great school for entertainment /Media. NYU seems to have better ranking and possibly better network . However, UCLA is one of the most prestigious schools in the Heart of entertainment epicenter .......and Kellogg is in the top 5 although does not have a entertainment focus, its still one of the best schools for Marketing. Any thoughts

Has anyone seen any detailed employment reports for NYU? They have a page showing companies that interview at NYU, but I havent seen any page that really specifies how many people companies took. Anyone seen and pdfs or pages like that?

Hey Guys,

I need your help. I applied for R2 (1/15) and had not heard anything ever since. So today, I just happened to check the Application Website Check and found that they were missing my GMAT (retake) scorecard. To my best knowledge I did not receive any communiation from the school that the application was incomplete (I checked the spam folder as well). Even the GMAT scorecard shows that the scores were sent to the school.

I have sent the scorecard to the school but given only two days remain to the final notification I dont know how much this will hurt me. I would greatly appreciate inputs from seniors or anyone who could help.

By no means am I an expert, but I would call Admissions and explain your situation. It is very close to end of the notification period and it really can only help you to let them you are fixing the problem.
