It seems like its 7 of us in this forum are still in the WL. I've tried to find out when the deposit deadline is for R3, but haven't been able to dig any info. Does anyone know?

In the meantime, what are you guys planning on doing in the fall? Starting a new application season or attending a different school? I am heading to Georgetown, but hopefully NYU will call before August...

I am not sure what the deadline is for R3 applicants. Given that admissions decisions are "rolling," the deposit date noted in a letter of admission could vary slightly from applicant to applicant. The one firm date for all NYU admits is July 7th; the day that the full fall tuition is due. Failure to submit by the 7th will result in forfeiting a spot in the class. Presumably there are at least a few people who submitted deposits but wont attend. Whether or not that opens a spot for someone on the waitlist...anyone's guess.

so i was w/l w/o int. invited to int. interviewed. was told i'd have a decision in 2-3 weeks. it has now been 4 and...nothing. i emailed them to ask and was told the 2-3 weeks was just a guideline. odd and annoying. sigh. really really want to get in!

I was waitlisted without interview in January and was officially dinged today. It's okay, I'm headed to another top business school and am very excited about it. Good luck to everyone else :-D

Just got dinged this morning. I do have UCLA, but I have to admit I'm pretty bummed about missing out on a chance to live and study in our greatest city...best of luck to the remaining few of you...

For what it's worth to this conversation, I removed myself from the waitlist a few weeks back. Today I got a survey via e-mail asking them to rate the application process. I think this (and the above posts) is a sign that they've trimmed down their waitlist to a point now where they are just hoping to cover those who may decide not to attend.

I have been monitoring this forum for some time but have not posted. I was waitlisted on 2/18 after attending the 2 day interview event for women in February. Still have not heard anything. I have committed to another school but would be very interested if Stern called me...
