OK, let's do some calculations. Based on BW stats, roughly 620 students were accepted, so conservatively speaking, that's probably 200-300 calls for R2, so let's say 250. So far only 3 people from admissions that we know of have been making calls. If we assume that it's 5 minutes per call, then it's roughly 7 hours per person, which is roughly an entire work day. Since they probably have other things to deal with during the day, combined with the fact that an admissions person said calls didn't go out till after 11 AM today, I'm thinking there will still be calls going out tomorrow. Maybe less than half, but still a significant number. I believe that in the past, they split calls over two days for R2. But again, this is just my prediction to make myself feel better, so take it with a grain of salt.

Where in the wolverine site do you see your credentials? I just see different categories: students, faculty, parents, etc

Just checked the Wolverine link and my credentials are incorrectly listed. Great...what do I do now? It listed an extra GMAT date. I am a re-applicant so I really hope this did not screw me over.

Where in the wolverine site do you see your credentials? I just see different categories: students, faculty, parents, etc

Hi all, my first post here and appreciate everybody's advice in advance. I wanted to ask are there any applicants from North Asia including China/Hong Kong/Taiwan who received the admit emails? Based on the arrangements in round 1 and last year, are all admit emails to international applicants sent out on the first day or spread over the next 2-3 days? Thanks!

I asked about the scholarship when the person on the phone didn't mention it--means that they don't have a scholarship for you right now, so you have to apply for Financial Aid. She also mentioned that funds might be reallocated (depending on admit commitment decisions).

Congrats to you. Did you apply to Stanford ? There usually up to 80% scholarship once you got admitted. After the collapse of Detroit, they probably dont have much to offer. Just my 2 cents :D

Guys! I was curious to know why Ross? How is it for someone who wants to start a business as a lon-term goal and short-term goals are to get into General Management or High tech industries or Marketing with a background of Engineering & Telecom?

Well since it's after five eastern, I've tallied up some numbers for day and assuming I didn't miss anything

R2
45 people interviewed/10 admitted

R1
35 people interviewed/26 admitted + 5 waitlisted

If you extrapolate the R1 numbers to R2 there would be 33 admits and 6 waitlists. Obviously this is a small sample and whatnot, but it does give me some hope that admit calls are not complete.

I live in SE Asia (same timezone as of some N. Asian countries) and received the mail at 1pm EST earlier (yes, I was awake, staring at my inbox at 2AM my time :wink: ).

My guess is AdCom sent out the first Admit emails to those who live near cities where Ross will hold a student forum in the next couple of weeks. In their admit email, they invited me to participate in the MAP Reception at Singapore on March 25. Maybe they want to make sure we register early to the events.

So, I believe Adcom will still send out additional admit emails tonight. :-D
