Well, I'm not US based.
Actually, I'm flying overseas just to attend this event.

I really want to go to Ross :-D

Let me know when you are in AA.

Wow, you are an international and Ross wants you to to come to AA for Super Interview Saturday. So basically you just take time off, get visa, fly to Detroit just for a Bschool interview? With short notice and airline tariffs, you can spend easily $1,700 for the event. Having said that if you did make the effort and attend the event before admission offers, this would send strong signals to Ross Adcoms that you wish go to Ross. Good luck.

I am also an international applicant, but no Super Interview Saturday here. Just ordinary interview with local alumnus. Any idea, how many attended Super Interview Saturday last year?

Making the count, $1,700 would be the amount spent.
I believe it's my opportunity to get to know the school I want the most, and show them that.

Regarding numbers, I have no idea how many attended SIS last year. Making a dumb math based on the invited from my country, I'd say that around 30% of the people invited for Ross interview had been invited for SIS. This is a rough number based on this year figures, in my country. So I would not use that as a basis for world calculation. And I don't now how many are actually attending.

lagsantiago - Have you been already to AA on school visit or will this be your first? Hope you do well and Ross will make you an offer, the least it can do given the efforts you do. Otherwise a ding would add insult to costs.

I naively thought the only internationals invited to SIS are Canadians, but some other Asia based poster also got SIS invite. Newbie question: what is the rationale of SIS at this early stage. People already submitted application, but later stage at admitted student weekend in April Bschools try to close the deal with multiple offers students.

I am from Italy and I got the invitation to the SIS. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend...

This will be my first time visiting Ross, and I hope to be the first of many days I'll stay there.

I think the moderator could count thoise who have been invited for the SIS, so we could have a rough estimative at this point.

As far as I know, they'll release in one batch on the deadline, or 1 or 2 days before.

Hi kunoflo,

Not many Italy based posters on this Ross thread, I think I have read more from Italians at other schools. I see you apply to other US schools, too. So will you decline SIS and request local alum interview? Is there an active alumni base in Italy. European here too, but Ross alumni base a bit patchy and I will have to travel by train to big city to meet alum.

Last year about 70 attended...it's unclear how many were invited.

Hey folks, I've asked this before but no one has responded. I'm looking for a person who will take over the Ross thread. Since I did not get an invite during my round 1 application, I don't think I'll be able to keep up with the changes for Ross coming up. Please let me know if you'd like to take over the thread by either replying or pming me.

I thought I had submited the official gmat score but it turns out that I haven't. So would I be considered as R2 applicant?

How did you figure this out? Did the AdCom contact you?

I called them after looking at the GMAT score report history.

I'll be gearing up for USC, UCLA, Cornell, and Duke. I'm really trying to figure out if something's wrong with my application (i.e. essays/resumes). Even though round 1 hasn't offically been over for me, I'm just going to mentally think that I'm rejected from everywhere. Hopefully by the middle of next year, someone will take me in.

dont give up hope man. You got a gmat that is at least average or above to the schools you are applying - not sure about your GPA though but I am pretty sure UCLA has a high GPA mean (that's why i shyed away from it). Did you have your essays checked by someone? If not and you think that *might* be the culprit perhaps letting someone check it is not a bad idea especially the "generic" essays topics such as goals/why mba now are very similar school to school.
