Though they said we are similarly taken to their consideration regardless of interview methods, do u guys think it make any diff between off campus and skype?

Which one should i go for, given that i might have to fly for interview.

Go to the campus for the interview, if you haven't already visited. It re-iterates reinforces your interest. If you have already visited, then do whatever method you are most comfortable with.

I totally understand your point and I really wish to do so but the thing is i am all the way in another side of the world. Flying there would cost me a lot. So i am considering skype or off campus.

How about between Skype vs Alumnus face to face interview? Some say that Skype, which will be taken by adcom, is far more objective and fair, whereas face-to-face with Alum is not that predicable... more like hit or miss situation.

I think it depends on where you are. If you're in a big city where you're fairly certain there are alums, I bet the adcom would rather you interview with one. If you're in the middle of nowhere, they'd probably understand Skype more.
With the adcom, depending on how many interviews they have to do on Skype, they'll be more likely to have people to compare you to than an alum would, which may or may not help you depending on how well you think you stack up compared to the competition.

I will schedule my Ross interview in Singapore. Anyone going to interview in Singapore too? Btw I still need to wait for other schools' results to schedule my travel. Good luck everyone!

i was hoping to interview on campus, but when i log-on, it doesnt look like there are any dates available anymore. is anyone else seeing this as well? didn't realize they would fill up like that otherwise i would have signed up for a date immediately.

i know ross really encourages applicants to interview on campus and participate in the group exercise, so hoping this doesnt hurt my chances there.

Yeah, all of the on campus interviews are filled. I'm deciding between skype and off campus in another city now. They say all interview types are judged equally but deep down I know they have preferences.

yeah i would def agree on that. i went to a Ross information session in NYC and Soojin Kwon was there and she made it a point to mention that the group exercise was highly encouraged. at the time i did not realize that the group exercise was only done for on-campus interviews so did not think much of it. now im pissed i did not sign up for an on-campus spot immediately. i was taking my time trying to decide which date worked better with my work/personal schedule and then when i finally decided on a date (Nov 21st), i realized all dates were full.
