Guys, would like your opinion on one thing. MIT adcom recommends to provide examples that were not included in other parts of the application. I have included a lot of good team work and leadership experiences in my resume, should not I use them in my interview in case I am invited? What will be your strategy?

Resume contains bullet points and one liners. I am assuming whatever you have provided in the resume won't contain the whole situation and your thought process. Considering that MIT's interview will be mostly behavioral, what they need to know is your behavior and actions during those situations that led to the result (part of your resume). So I think you can focus on most of the things already present in your resume, as that will only be 10% of your whole response. The main story, I assume, won't be part of your resume.

But you should avoid whatever you have mentioned in the mandatory question and the optional question, if applicable as that might contain all the details.

There's a bit of a trust factor in the interview that we, as the interviewee have to trust that the adcom member has fully reviewed your application (as they have committed to). Given this, it's most effective to focus on new information. It's also likely that the adcom member will try to uncover some question marks in the application, perhaps some areas that you were weak on in the app that may be mitigated through the interview.

I would just use the best example you have, regardless if it's already part of your application.

Agree with this completely. You obviously do not want to use the example you used in your essays word for word, but anything that you can provide more color on that would strengthen your case for admission would be welcome, especially one liners in your resume. I even used one of my essays as a starting point to explain how I reacted in a different situation to provide contrast. Just don't be repetitive - if they ask how you work in a team and you mention your essay word for word, that's useless.

So it was basically October 20, then nothing. If there is again nothing tomorrow, it would be Oct. 20 then November? God MIT is full of bosses lol
