rakeshglobsyn, Congrats on the awesome scholarship. Where else did you apply. Is this the offer you’re going with?

I am yet to get result from Rice and Mccombs. And also Simon. I am okay to go with Simon. How about you ?

I am also waiting for Rice and McCombs but I have paid the deposit for SMU just to be on the safer side. I got a 100k scholarship from SMU and I’m 90% sure the other wont give that much. Considering the large scheme of things I feel 2k is not a big deal if you want to be on the safe side.

One thing to look for is the parity in employment reports and target companies. End of the day an MBA schools is just a vehicle for a better employment opportunity. Look at this way and you will find your answer. Consider the ROI because MBA is a huge investment especially for Indians

If you are confident about getting into the rest of your target schools and you don’t have any pressure of “getting into bschool this year” then i think you can let go
