I am also waiting for Rice and McCombs but I have paid the deposit for SMU just to be on the safer side. I got a 100k scholarship from SMU and I’m 90% sure the other wont give that much. Considering the large scheme of things I feel 2k is not a big deal if you want to be on the safe side.

Purely based on ranking SMU is better. Also SMU has some of the best faculty for MBA and they are based in the heart of Dallas. SMU also has a legacy of about 100 years and an extensive alumni network. Considering all these I’d pick SMU over Maryland. Did you get any scholarship from either?

Not yet. I have paid the deposit over the weekend. I think we will get to know more this week.

I would say that depends on the career goal. I find both are similar type of school but SMU cox being at the heart of Dallas provide a little better opportunity. In my opinion. I may be wrong though.

I had mine yesterday, and it was 30 mins, so i believe they don’t stretch it beyond an extra 5-10 mins.

Can anyone tell me if the second round interview is more towards the industry and names of companies i want to work in?

Yes. I have received the second interview call

My 1st interview was on 15th March and received call for second with career management person on 21st March . Have scheduled it within this week itself.
If you havent received yet, i wont be very hopeful. since they send out second invite in a week or so
