And a fifth! I know they extended the application deadline last night due to the credit card system not working, but I thought the unsubmit button would be gone by now...

Thanks!

J - last year I think interviews were given out between October 28 and November 26. I'm assuming it'll be similar this year, but we should know for sure in a week or so. We've got a long wait ahead of us!

Great thanks! So I guess you're saying that Stanford will usually send an email with some range of dates in a few days right?

Let the waiting game begin!

Thanks
Cheers

95 more and it will be a statistically significant sample. The wait for the interview call begins! :)

Realized I didn't number the pages on my essays. Obviously grounds for immediate rejection. This is why you should never look at your app ex post facto.

Rejecting someone for not numbering pages would be nonsense. They ask for it for order, yet they won't miss a good candidate for not numbering pages on an essay.

You never know. There are a lot of good candidates. I agree it's not immediate rejection, but missing something small like page numbers might just be what puts one candidate at a slight disadvantage to another equally great candidate.

Numbering the pages is truly what set apart a guy that gets into Stanford versus a guy that doesn't.

Small details matter, Welcome to the real world son

I think someone last year forgot page numbers or to double space, something like that. I'm sure plenty of people do it, and I'm sure at the end of the day, it won't be the thing that dings you. Yes, small details matter, but I think Stanford can look past missing page numbers for an excellent candidate! Stay positive!

But yes, don't look at your application after it's submitted :) I learned that lesson after submitting my first application and realized I had two periods after a sentence instead of one. Whatever!
