Hey towski, thanks for letting me know. It does help a bit to know that others have had a similar experience, but still it will be difficult not to worry or overanalyze for the next few days I guess.
Don't worry my friend, if you look at last year's thread, there were folks with fantastic interview experience who were dinged. Also, my friend does alumni interviews (not for the GSB), and she always smiles / laughs / looks engaged and interested. But let me tell you she is one hard person to impress, frequently concluding in her reports that certain candidates are simply not a fit for the school. The interviewers who are more relaxed (i.e. off the script) are possibly more experienced and you never know whether you passed or failed the test.

Regarding interviews, let's try not to overanalyze (I know it's hard). I was called by DB himself for my interview and honestly don't have a clue about how I did. We went into a lot of detail about my experience, with only something like two questions from the typical scripts we see. Remember you are a strong candidate for any school, and we will have other options in case GSB dings us.
Congrats mate! I bet folks would love to ask you these questions...
1.) Where are you based at?
2.) Was there not an alum in your area?
3.) Are you a college applicant?
4.) What's your background?
5.) When was your interview?
6.) Are you a re-applicant?
7.) ...
8.) ......
9.) .........
But the real question is --> How did you end up interviewing with DB??? #OveranalyzingAtItsBest
Nevertheless, these are all irrelevant and I agree with you that everyone will end up just fine in life, regardless of the outcome! Thanks for sharing!
