Long time lurker of this forum too and thought I'd share the experience.

Got my invite yesterday at 10am sharp Central time.

I'm technically an international applicant (New Zealand) but am currently working in Chicago so my interview will be in Chicago. Not sure if that helps solve or confuse the international vs local speculation.

Good luck to the rest of you.

I realize that most of the interviews last year were sent out the 2-3 week of Nov, but I'm starting to feel a bit pessimistic.

Stay positive for another couple weeks, the number of people posting that they got interviews distorts your perception because all the people who havent heard yet arent posting

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if there is any supporting documentation that needs to be mailed to Stanford.
For example INSEAD requires official transcripts and English language certification to be sent via mail.
Do we just upload any additional documents in the application form itself or are people sending any hard copies to Stanford and other top US schools

I am looking forward to your reply, thank you.

Meh, I've pretty much written off my chances at this point, even though I know the wave of interview invites hasn't happened yet. Just too hard to keep my hopes up and be all nervous for an extended period of time.. and I gotta get started on R2 applications!!

I think you have an excellent profile and also no indian applicants have received an invite yet.. so there is no reason to be so negative... Would expect invites later next week or early on in week thereafter...

Cheers

Stats:
M/33/3.95 Top Ivy schools (Undergrad+Masters)/700 (Q49,V36)
7 yrs work exp (leadership role in hi-tech)
EC: Solid

My biggest problem is my age: already 33. I guess WHS are all age sensitive.
How about you fugaz778, what are your stats ?
Anyone in the same old sinking boat as me ?

Let's hear it for the older applicants! We need all the help we can get.

Stats:
29
White as Can Be
GMAT 760
GPA 3.92 from crappy state school
6 Years Asset Management (Morgan Stanley)
Weak Extra Curriculars (1 year habitat for humanity. 2 kids and finance job - go figure)
Already Dinged at HBS

Tried to take a creative approach to the essays. Figured I've got to stand out somehow. We'll see how it goes.
