Agreed. What gives? I called the admissions office yesterday about my status and talked to a girl named Rachel. She wasn't an admin person and said that all the admin people were gone this week for spring break, but she did say I should get a decision within 10-12 weeks (as the website says)
from when I submit my application. I'm going on 13 weeks right now, including their Christmas/winter break, so I'm beyond anxious at this point.
On another subject, I've gotten some helpful essay review from a two guys - one at Duke and another at Columbia. Both discussed with me their essays, and now I totally feel like I failed to use my essays to express my strengths and uniqueness. Basically, I'm an architect, and have many unique characteristics that I didn't discuss because they just seemed typical to me at the time (relative to other architects). Is there a possibility of re-writing my essays or modifying them before a decision is made or if I'm placed on the waitlist?
