I only let them know I want to remain on the wait list. I am working on getting a new recommandation in, but it will take a while.

Any guidelines for Johnson wait-list updates specifically? I don't think I saw a word limit or page limit.
Is a standard one-pager 1.5 spaced deemed the thumb rule for max content?

Also for an additional reco, does one send it in as a pdf-ed attachment? Or does one request the recommender to mail it to the application region manager directly?

Thanks!

On Skype, no need to visit campus for Johnson interview. I mean you can if you want to but its not really expected.

The wait continues. Sounds like they wont be making WL decisions till after round 3. Email from application manager:

"Good afternoon,

Thank you for your updates and correspondences. I have been updating them as I get them, unfortunately we are still in the process of getting our round 3 done and have been unable to respond back in a timely manner. I assure you that I have been receiving them and have been in contact with the committee so they are aware of any updates you have sent.

Thank you for your patience and understanding with the waitlist process."

Got accepted to Stern with good $$, so now I will most likely W/D from Johnson. It sucked being on WL from R1 at Johnson especially seeing almost no Indians getting in. Most probably a bunch of guys would see themselves getting in after R3/R4.

I am having this coversation with them (in my dreams), where I am saying - "No WLs for you Mr Johnson, I Ding you" !

They are probably playing a game of survivor with us. They wait list us and wait, see who chooses another school, can't handle the pressure or choose to wait another year. They slowly watch as the wait list dwindles down and when everyone think it's over boom the few that were left standing are given acceptances and scholarships. Maybe they'll even have Jeff Probst read the names haha. Dreaming is free right?

Thank you for the info!! Great news for all of us waiting patiently. Would you kindly share what she said? I wonder if they will only look at wait listed candidates from a certain round or a certain country (because of visa processing time...)
