Thanks Eligold! The reason I asked about GRE is because I’m trying to assess whether my 325 is competitive for Tuck coming from an ORM background.
I am sorry whats ORM?

Oh. I thought it was over-represented-minority which was sort of an oxymoron but Male makes more sense

Could you also please explain how you approached the "Tell us who you are" essay?

Alright :) Go with your gut here, think about the effort you can still make to get a better score viz a viz time. How much time do you need, will you be able to complete your application alongside?

R1 still is a bit far away, you can take another shot if you like. If you feel you have other unique factors in your profile, then don’t waste the time

This was the hardest for me. Introspect on important life events right from childhood, important decisions you have taken like switching majors in college/ switching jobs/ leaving certain opportunities and then try thinking why you made the choice you did. It is not easy or fast, it is a frustrating, lengthy but rewarding process that will help you get started

Please feel free to ask any questions.

Fun fact - I failed at the GMAT twice before switching to GRE. Happy to speak about that as well

Nice, glad you switched ! As a non native speaker who forgot her reading habit, it did come naturally but the whole structure of GRE with the independence of moving around the questions worked well for me.

You might have covered this previously, but would also love to know what struck out to you about Tuck vs. other schools?

Totally agree! Moving around the section was a gamechanger for me

At the time of applying, honestly I wanted to apply to an entire net of schools - dream/ target and safety. But when I was in the position of choosing between admits, thats when I evaluated the alumni network in my country/ the recognition of the brand . A pretty interesting fact - Tuck has the highest number of MBB recruitments in all of T15 business schools, this stood out well. Moving to Hanover was a bit scary but I spoke to enough students to feel comfortable before closing on my decision.

I sympathise with how hard, and confusing the whole business school application process can be. If you want to ask me more personal questions, get guidance, evaluate your profile or need any help at any juncture of the process - I am happy to meet 1:1. Please dm for a session.

Thanks so much! Would love to hear about how you choose the schools you applied to
