I received a mail that UCLA wants to return my degree certificate to me. Did anyone else got it ? Cant be good I guess.. so much for dreams
:/

Posted from my mobile device

Did you send them your original degree? In my case I sent a certified (by the university) copy.

Yeah, I did send the original.. Didnt want to take a chance.. so its just me then.. I was reading previous posts, nobody else mentioned something like this.. {sigh}

Posted from my mobile device

Well with that in mind, I would expect them to return it to you regardless, and therefore perhaps it doesn't mean anything? One can hope =)

Well of course they'd return it to you! I sent them my original degree certificate as well because I couldn't get an attested copy in time. I also put in a note with instructions on how to return it to me because I want my original back safely with me, admit or not. I'm pretty sure they don't want the responsibility of hanging onto it until a final decision is made, so yeah I wouldn't worry about it. It indicates nothing!

Well, if you're only asking about whether there is going to be another round of admits and not asking about your decision in particular, I think you should be okay.

Anyone thinking of applying Anderson for R3? I'm aware of R3 risks but thought schools with rolling admissions like Anderson may be more open to it? Any thoughts or tips would be much appreciated. Thank!

Well, the offers may be rolling to some extent, but the school still has rounds. If you consider this:
https://www.mbadataguru.com/blog/admissi ... ion-round/

...then the chances of getting accepted in round 3 are much lower. Having said that, from everything I have heard, schools actually *like* reapplicants and therefore it appears you lose nothing (other than time and some money) in applying now, but gain a chance to get in now and increase your chance later.

Excellent insight! This gives me more confidence to apply to Ross and Johnson in R3. Thank you so much!

Happy to help =) You better hurry though, Michigan deadline is 23rd Mar (in 10 days) and Johnson R3 is already closed but they do have rolling admissions. I'm sure the earlier the better though, those spots are bound to be running out.

So I haven't heard back from Anderson yet since I applied in R2. Safe to say this is a Ding?

It is a bit late in the game to be honest, but the official word is that invites can go out right upto decision day. So there is still a chance. But if it was me, I'd be preparing myself mentally for a waitlist/ding.

Got an interview invite on 13th March, but the interview slots got filled up before I could register.
Waiting for the Admission Committee's response, but its safe to say that invites are still going out...

Read somewhere about early R2 decisions. Does anyone have any news on that ? April 2nd is too far away!

I'm also in the same boat as some of the others. Need to choose between ISB (April start) and US B-schools.

In the past, they've sent out a round of early admits in mid-March. Hard to say if it'll happen again, but I would guess that it will.
