Hi,

I have not been able to schedule my Skype interview as the interview slots have been filled up until Mar 18th.

Does anyone know when the last day is for Round 2 applicants to complete their interview?

Getting anxious now.

Have you contacted the admissions office to let them know?

I am sorry about that. I will reach out to them too. PM me if you don't hear back in the next couple days. As far as last day to interview, I believe you can interview pretty much all the way up to the decision deadline. Remember, even if you are not an early admit in whatever round it is that you applied in, you can still get a scholarship/fellowship.

Feeling sad. :(

Though the adcom said that some interview invites will trickle in March, the 'very light volume' makes it scary.

Some people said that high GMAT/GPA stats people get an early interview. Don't know what to make of it. :|

I don't think there will be. In R1, they had one round of early decisions. Then, the day before the published deadline, the rest of the acceptaces were made (via phone). On the deadline day, there were mostly dings and waitlists reported.

So, if it's going to happen for us, it'll be on April 1.

(This is solely based on observations from this thread, not from any correspondence with UCLA)

I just finished my interview with a second year student and it was super casual, just like everyone said. I'm pretty happy with how it went. Here's a brief list of questions that were asked, and if you'd like more detail then you can have a look at the blog.

1. Walk me through your resume
2. Why MBA
3. Why UCLA Anderson
4. Why now
5. Short term and long term goals
6. Story about leadership
7. Story about dealing with conflict
8. Strength and weakness

Couple of guys who got admitted in R1 told me that I would get an early interview based on stats and undergrad pedigree. I started my interview prep the very next day after submitting my R2app. But now that energy is coming down. :(

This radio silence is killing me. My undergrad classmate with slightly low GMAT but a higher GPA got admitted with $$$$ last year. He said that he didn't put that much effort in the essays and didn't even network with anyone.

Don't know if the dynamics changed for the Indian applicants this year. :| :( :wow

From my experien e this is the toughest year for indian applicants.. the applications increased by 40%YoY and most of it from India so you can do the math..

Well before “entrepreneurship” was a household word, UCLA Anderson was one of the first b-schools to teach it. Decades later, they are still going strong.

Listen to the full recording of our podcast interview with Elaine Hagan, Executive Director of the Price Center at UCLA Anderson, and Angela Klein, ‎Program Manager at Anderson, for the scoop on entrepreneurship at UCLA.
00:01:41 – Featured Applicant Question: Should I take seriously an email from an admissions committee encouraging me to apply and even offering help?

00:05:48 – Introducing Elaine Hagan and Angela Klein.

00:07:04 – What the Price Center does for ULCA Anderson students.

00:10:10 – Changes to teaching entrepreneurship over the past 10 years.

00:11:46 – Can the “the mindset of an entrepreneur” be taught?

00:15:30 – Anderson’s approach to teaching entrepreneurship.

00:20:35 – The Knapp Venture Competition.

00:25:40 – Benefits of working for an established company first

00:28:35 – Ingredients of a successful entrepreneur.

00:30:38 – The difference between guy and gal entrepreneurs (and a word about international differences, too).

00:33:58 – What future entrepreneurs should do before arriving on campus.

00:36:46 – Will writing, “I want to study entrepreneurship” on your application convince the adcom? (And what Anderson hates more than anything else.)
