Is anyone concerned about COVID-19 impacting social events and global programs in the next two years?

Wouldn’t say concerned is the right word - but you’re right that everything from social events, clubs, classes, orientation will be impacted well beyond 2020. It’s a shame, but clearly is the right decision. I’m imagining that UCLA (and other schools) will take a hybrid approach over the next several months.
Ps - anyone else checking their admissions status everyday?

I wonder if deferrals will be allowed.
I was checking but read on forums that the admissions office calls you if you get admitted. So if you see an LA area code pickup the phone! Best of luck all!
