does anyone know the yield for FEMBA? 70 admits per round sounds a bit low as they target a class of just under 300 per year.

Dylan did say that they receive 20% of apps in R1, 40% in R2, and 40% in R3 so it makes sense that it's not 70 per round. since considering the choices of pt MBA programs in LA, the only other remotely decent option is Marshall so I would anticipate the yield for FEMBA is pretty high.

It looks like any decisions before the holidays are highly unlikely. I just saw the tweet...
'UCLA Anderson MBA Admissions Office will close for winter break from 20 Dec 2010 thru 31 December 2010.'

If we go by the last year, the answer is "No". However, the decisions went out around Christmas time two years ago. I know it is hard to wait esp. for one more month, and that makes all of us. I guess the best way to find out is by tweeting the admissions director!!

If that was the case, then what was the official date for decision release 2 years ago? also around January 11?

The official notification date for FT two years ago was sometime around Jan 10th.. But they rendered some decisions around Christmas time. Anyway, I don't expect any decisions to go out before Jan 12th this year, as they will be back from winter break on Jan 3rd and it is about a week to get to the decision week from that point. Well, I hope I am wrong. Man I really believe that patience is a good virtue to have!!

Does anyone know when R1 applicant deposits will likely be due? I have a waitlist situation to contend with elsewhere. Thanks!

I interviewed about three weeks ago and my interviewer seemed to think admit offers would be rolled out prior to the January announcement date, but she wasn't sure on it.

Feb 2 makes no sense. 2 weeks after notification to submit a deposit when most other schools give you over 2 months? I don't think that could possibly be correct.

Hey guys, been a while since I posted. Very happy to announce that I've been accepted to the FEMBA program starting 2011, and looking forward to it. Got the admit on Friday 12/10.

Christmas came early this year!
