I was just curious what the R1 deposit for admisttance was? I am applying to UNC for Fall 2009 and heard it was a little higher than usual and was curious how much higher. Need to decide if I want to do R1 or R2.
It was $2,500 and was due Jan 4th which is before the R1 decisions for the most of other b-schools. So you really need to be sure that UNC is your number one choise to go down that road. I would recommend applying in R2. That way, you are still eligible for a fellowship and don't have to risk "eating" your deposit up if you decide to go to another school.
Thanks, I'm actually heading up there tomorrow afternoon to visit campus. I can't wait

, Duke and UNC in one day, but I won't mention either school in front of the other.
