Since the word limit is less, I get that you want to focus more on the academic side of things. Just add a couple of lines showing how you contributed to the community or something for that personal growth aspect and I think it should be fine. But honestly, this is one of the better and more interesting MBA essay questions It sucks that the word limit is just 250
