For everyone waiting on Booth, here’s what you should expect the next few weeks:
-February 23: Last day of interviews for Round 2 for off campus
-March 2: Last day of interviews for Round 2 for on campus
-March 5: Round 1 waitlisted applicants will begin to get news of admit, deny, or continue waitlist (could start as early as March 3). Keep in mind this is rolling until March 18.
-March 18: All admitted Round 2 applicants will get a call from Booth notifying them. Everyone that doesn’t receive a call will get a decision on the portal the next day of either deny or waitlist.
-March 19: Round 2 decision release. No calls, likely no emails, just portal updates.
Are we sure that interviews ended today? I thought they ended last week...

Yes, I was invited to interview for R2 at Booth, and the instructions clearly state that interviews ended on March 2. Plus, I saw 20-30 people interviewing on a single day on-site after Feb 23.
Well it looks like one more day... are we sure that last year notifications for WL started 2 weeks prior to the R2 day? How likely is it that calls will start tomorrow?

Last year, the WL acceptances began the first Thursday of the month, March 7. This year, that would make it tomorrow, March 5. The only two dates I have seen that WL applicants were notified was two weeks before and a day before round 2 final notifications. So, if the previous data holds, WL will hear either tomorrow March 7 or Wednesday March 18.
Thanks for the insights! Any idea of what % should hear back tomorrow vs before round 1?

Historically, Booth acceptances off the waitlist have been between 15-20%. I think outside factors will influence that this year, so the number may be a little higher. Odds are 1/5 or 1/4 maybe?
There are 24 people that in the forum that indicated they’re on the WL. So, maybe 6 applicants will get in tomorrow.
Last year... R2 decisions were released a week after the final interview week (giving adcoms a week to deliberate)

I think it will be more than 6/24, as noted above... lots of folks may get in and not update their status on these forums. Booth is known for heavier than usual waitlists... but honestly no one knows until it actually happens.
Do you really think it would be next week? I think after this long of a wait, if they know the answer they will let it be known sooner rather than later. I assume the extra time next week would be used to shore up scholarship / aid after admissions decisions have been made...
