i was waitlisted last year and this year, no waitlist number

if you are from IT background , very slim chances in my opinion

No idea, last year didnt see any IT converting, most were from diff backgrounds

Hi Nikhil, just a suggestion, in decision tracker all IIMs are combined into 1 "IIM (All Schools)", if we can have it separate for each IIM then it will be better to analyze.

definitely saw more than 10, saw waitlist movement from Dec to even one in April

oh ok thanks, but the problem is they havent given any waitlist number this time around so waitlisted people cannot gauge as to where they stand in the queue.

last year also there was no waitlist number for IIM A, there was waitlist no for IIM C though

I wish that was true, but I dont think that will be the case, I know people who were waitlisted till the end of last round last year and could not convert into the final shortlist.

So I am an R1 waitlisted candidate. Couple of questions:1. If I apply for R2 and get rejected (say at application level or post interview level), then will I be removed from the R1 waitlist?
2. Also, if I get waitlisted after R2 but my waitlist rank is lower (as in, worse) than R1, will R2 waitlist be considered over R1?

The experts say that one must reapply only upon rejection in R1 because only if you were rejected in R1, you can use a different approach in your application. Else the same profile would only back fire.

Hi just a small query. How long did it take for you guys to get the interview results. Was it well with a week of the interview?

Website says results for R1 was due today. 21 October. Looks like it was well before that
