MBAgirl2010, I think I can speak on behalf of the WL crew and thank you for your insight, patience and levelheadedness (I'm making that a word) throughout this process. Best of luck at HBS/Booth/Kellogg and enjoy your freedom!

WL again from R1. I suppose I'll wait this out again (at least this wait is less than two months), but in the meantime still deciding between CBS/Booth.

Waitlisted- sucks bc this is my only shot this year plus I'm International. I know this has probably been covered, but do we have any stats on % of acceptances off the waitlist?

WLed again - might as well have been a ding as I'll be taking myself off next Monday. I must say W's waitlist management has been pretty atrocious throughout these months - no communications whatsoever.

I personally know 4 people who applied in R2, 3 of them (including myself) got the WL......unusually high in my opinion. I'm guessing this small sample size may be indicative of a larger trend.

In any case, I'm already preparing for R1 come later this year- I'll be working to beef up my app, particularly in ec. Good luck to all.

PS, any datapoints on acceptances off the waitlist?

Yes, there is clearly a trend going on here. Wharton waitlisted a truckload of people. I don't know what to make of it.

Just wanted to throw my hat in the ring: another R2 waitlister reporting for duty!

I can't really see the point of waitlisting so many people, particularly at a school with such a stable and predictable yield.

Remember, when you get to Wharton, you let them know. You stuck it through thick and thin. You kept your name on that list no matter the odds. You let them know, loud and proud, that you were a waitlister, and you will not be stopped.
